I've booked a *A award trip to BKK in C with AP miles (YVR-ICN on AC and ICN-BKK on OZ).
I've got a 65 minute connection in ICN, which at first seemed OK (the AP agent gave me the itinerary, it shows up as a valid connection on an ANA search, and it appears the KE MCT is 60 minutes at ICN), but when I contacted OZ directly to get seat assignment, the agent told me that 70 minutes was the minimum connection time at ICN and I had an invalid connection (however, she issued me seats anyway ).
If I miss my connection, will I get any help from AC? or OZ? I'd rather not get stuck in ICN for an overnight, since I've already booked a hotel in BKK and have limited time there for sightseeing.
There is a TG flight that leaves a couple of hours later than the OZ flight, but I don't want to switch flights unless I miss my connection (it is an old plane, and I would consider a different connection city if I have to sit in one of their old birds).
Thanks for the help (I've also posted on the AC forum).
