Budget Travel - Panama -> Europe. Best fares?

Hi Folks,

I'm looking to go from Panama City, Panama (PTY) to a main city somewhere in europe - paris, amsterdam, madrid, barcelona, etc. What would be the best way for me to find the cheapest routes? Will I just have to search under each different endpoint, or is there any kind of matrix display of prices for different destinations available somewhere?

Depending on how crazy you are, if you can get a cheap flight to CCS, Conviasa flies to DAM every Saturday (A340-200), from where you can get a cheap Syrian Air flight to AMS.

Not the most direct, but cheap... and the "wonky" factor is very high.

Just enter your Airport and as a destination Europe, and voilà!
Also more info would be nice, like around what time you want to travel, whether it's a return or not, things like that.

Where are you finding fare information for this? The Conviasa site doesn't seem to have fares for international flights, and the fares that ITA finds for the CCS-DAM flight don't look cheap at all ($1350 rt, when simple PTY-LON rts are under $800). Am I missing something? Thanks.

You need to find it as an Iran Air flight (it is codeshared). Most (all?) US sites will not list Iran Air, but UK sites will. I was looking at buying it the other way most likely (DAM-CCS) where it is probably cheaper.

Which UK sites in particular? I managed to find DAM-CCS as an IranAir flight on TerminalA.com but it's still £733 rt there. How cheap did you find it?
