Yes, so sad I am under 25: I am almost 24, but yet so far away....

Anyways, I've been looking to rent a car for a week in LA. I've looked around and the cheapest fees for me (under 25) is $27 a day. Is that the best I'm going to get?

Thanks in advance.

If your entire quoted daily rate (inclusive of underage fees) is $27, that's a pretty good deal. If your daily underage fee is $27, than that seems high. You should be able to shop around for a lower fee. In my experience, Enterprise ranges between $10-$20/day underage fee.

I'd shop the other forums in here for corporate discount plans you may qualify for. You may have an association through loyalty programs (such as AAA), businesses you work for or transact with, or a school you're attending or graduated from. I don't endorse using codes you don't qualify for, however, as it can often lead to more problems than it avoids. Each of the main threads has a discount code stickey, many of which are filled with corporate account numbers to be used. IME National's sticky is the most organized and also has the widest range of under 25 friendly codes. Best of luck!

Really? Should I call or check websites? Now I see Enterprise charges $20/daily. I thought I read $27 there too.

Thanks for the input.
