Air New Zealand Air Points - Seat Counter award availability

Can anyone tell me how accurate is Seat Counter regarding the award availability on NZ?

I am looking to book a Star Alliance award through SQ on NZ from BNE-LAX (via AKL) and Seat Counter is showing availability in C, D, J and Z and I am thinking Z is award availability, no?

No, you need I class for NZ and many other *A airlines. Z is used for discounted business on NZ.
