Asiana Club - English Website broken / How to Seat Assignment?

Hi,

I've been having problems checking bookings on the Asiana website, finally made a booking. Now I can't seem to sign-up to the Asiana club on any of the English language websites... I get an error on checking for duplicate usernames (the page loads blank)... and there isn't a way to avoid that.

Anyone any idea if there is another way to assign seats for flights? My flights are in December in F, so, would like to get the best seats possible :)

In general I've been really disappointed with their website, it just doesn't seem to work at all in many ways :(

Edit: In the end I managed to get signed up via a Korean site (Korean on the USA website), with guesswork on the meaning of the text

Yup, English OZ webs are somewhat weird, it seems it provides enough information but it doesn't somehow

Look at the seatmap and call OZ office. They can do that for ya.

For a recent booking, I got all the way to seat selection, clicked on the seat that I wanted, but then the site just sort of stopped. :td:

I know I can call them up, but was hoping to do it online.

You belong to the Asiana Club? If not, I don't think it works. If so, then you've two choices, perservere or ring 'em.
I know which i'd do.

And talking about the English OZ websites, while the Korean one is modern and all new, the English version is still the old design introduced in 1748. They have never made an English version of the new site.

Totally agree about the English website. Last week, I was even having difficulties changing my address. It kept on pointing that I had to "enter my regident country" (even though that was the first field that I changed). In the end, I had to call the Asiana office to get it changed.

"enter my regident country":D :D That would be the spelling based on a very Korean pronunciation, so the website author probably just transferred the Korean pronunciation into the English mis-spelling.

This idiotic ActiveX creates all sorts of problems for firefox and google chrome users as well. I wonder when they are going to get rid of this garbage.
