Wyndham Rewards (formerly TripRewards) - Change date, not an option?

does the No-Refund fare in these hotels means that to reschedule to other date is NOT an option?

I dont need a refund, I just want to change the dates plus add one more day to my stay no matter if I have to pay a charge for it, but they refuse to help me with it.

They say it can not be changed because I bought it thru wyndham program, and not directly from the hotel

Not a nice first experience.

I've had good success with calling the hotel directly, but sounds like that was a no go for you.

I've never had success trying to make changes to a non-refundable through the central booking people.

Well, I think the first time I called to a call center... that was the phone number indicated in my reservation.

Yesterday, at just 2 hours before my checkin time I called to other number displayed in the hotel website... and a gently lady that was in the front desk (I think it was the front desk coz the background sound) transfered me with other person in the reservations department... she asked me to allow her a few minutes and that she was going to call me back

Effectively, they sent me an email AND called me back 1 hour later to confirm that my reservation was modify in my favor!

That was great or me.
Thats a good starting to get a happy customer and good reviews!
