Las Vegas - The R-J does 2009 Best of Las Vegas

Well, it had to happen; Olive Garden finally lost for best Italian, but chain restaurant aficionados will be pleased to know that PF Changs held on for best Chinese.

Note: The categories are in the pink strip across the top. Took me forever to find it.

They couldn't figure out how to consolidate the lists, so I need to click twice to see each and every entry? :rolleyes:

It IS kind of an annoying interface. But if you click on "Complete List" within each category (from the links furhter down on the page) it seemed to work a little better for me.

Everything I see IHOP is #1 for breakfast I realize just how useless this list really is!

Now, now...best meal under $10 goes to In-N-Out, so at least there is some smarts in them there people. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

The true best seafood restaurants are under hotels at least - I've enjoyed both Joe's and RM.

Haven't been to the McCormick and Schmick's in LV, but I've been to several around the states and it's been average at best.

And Red Lobster should never appear on a best of seafood list. Ever.

Come to think of it, I've always had a thing for Prime Steakhouse at Bellagio, but the peanut gallery recommended Outback. I'm sure my wife won't mind...

The Vegas one certainly isn't anything special. The only other location I've been to was in Portland and the menu was much better there.

I think the Vegas one only gets hyped because of all the local politicians and such that dine there.

sounds worse than tripadvisor, and thats impressive.
