Hi
I will be at the NJ shore and Six Flags Great Adventure the first days of May, staying at Lakewood (just in the middle of both)
Any recomendations?. I especially like seafood, sushi, BBQ and chinese food.
thanks in advance

Munchmobile (http://www.nj.com/munchmobile/), produced by the state newspaper, is an excellent resource for this--during the summer they run weekly columns reviewing the best 5 or 6 restaurants in each category, and most of them can be found in the Shore area. I'd post on its boards (http://www.nj.com/forums/munchmobile/) for specific questions.
IMHO, Lakewood and Jackson (where Six Flags is) are fairly dull, culinarily speaking--but there's a huge range of options in the Long Branch-Belmar-Point Pleasant strip to the east.

Just a short report after my trip.
Not great restaurants were found, except the following one which I recommend to anyone in the area:
Spike's Fish Market.
415 Broadway, Point Pleasant Bch, NJ - (732) 295-9400
Excelent to dine in. You must try the clams there!. Also have a fish market with raw seafood and prepared clams, clam showder, stuffed crabs, etc.
