I have heard a that SAA may be taking over Air Botswana -- can anyone confirm, refute, or provide information?
I do know that 2 years ago Air Botswana declined an offer from SAA to privatise the airline. But this is apparently a different move.

I don't see that happening. As SAA is only being kept alive through large injections of tax-payers money any move like that would be asking for trouble.

The Botswana goverment has, with varying levels of enthusiasm, been trying to privatize its national airline for, what, the last fifteen years or so?
