Hi, I am trying to take a trip around the pacific. My itinerary would be LAX-SYD-MEL-SINGAPORE-BKK-HONGKONG-BEIJING-TOKYO-LAX. I've been trying to find the cheapest way to do this trip. I've looked at booking the tickets separately on travel sites like Expedia or Priceline. The price using those sites is usually around $3000-$4000. I've been looking at one way tickets to Sydney and from Tokyo and they all seem to cost around the same as roundtrip tickets ($500-$600). I've also looked at the regional passes that the airline alliances have, but either they don't have flights for some of the cities on my route or they turn out to cost around the same as booking individual flights on travel websites. What's the cheapest way to book a trip like this? Any help is appreciated.

Look at a Oneworld circle pacific. www.oneworld.com. Star Alliance may do a similar ticket
