Las Vegas - THE Hotel

I was thinking about trying something different this stay... Does anyone know how the T Penthouse is and how things compare to the win tower or the bell? My friend plays there and said he would get us a T with a butler. Otherwise I was thinking of just getting myself a bellagio cypresss which has access to the "executive lounge." Not sure if that is really a true VIP lounge though.

I just checked out of a L suite at THE Hotel and I liked it a lot. The service level is better than regular Mandalay Bay and the room is very modern and contemporary. It is also large enough for a small reception. There is surround sound throughout the suite.

A few years ago a had a two bedroom penthouse at the bell and was not impressed and was surprised it is a five diamond hotel. The room looked a tad old and not as modern as The Hotel there was also no flat screen TVs.

Was told the T is smaller but has an awesome strip view and that the L is a mountain view. Do you know how they handle their VIP services over there i.e. would it be comparable to VIP at the Bell or the SkyLOFTS?

There is a separate VIP Checkin on the left side of the lobby near the main front desk. They dont have the food that the bell or sky lofts have but they do have drinks.

I think some L Suites have a partial strip view.

All things considered, I believe that this Thread will be better served in the FT Las Vegas Forum.

I really like the Cypress Suite (esp. lakeview) because of the layout with the bed facing outwards, but the same layout makes it feel much smaller than it actually is (it feels about as spacious as a Bellagio Suite despite supposedly having much more floorspace).

Now, the L suite in THEHotel is in another class entirely, and I'm not sure why you would pass that up. :)

For service...Skylofts is BY far your best option. Booking through Amex FHR or Virtuoso (and FT's DavidO) is the way to go. 15% off prevailing room rate, 1 catagory upgrade at time of check-in (if available), $100 food credit, complimentary continental breakfasts in-loft each morning, access to dining at the Mansion, r/t airport transfer in a Maybach, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages (including fresh hand squeezed juices available upon request) in your loft that can be customized to your tastes, free in-room pay-per-view...there are probably a few other things that I'm forgetting but it's ABSOLUTELY the way to go.

We were upgraded to a 2 bdrm loft on our last trip and it was great. Seperate media room and a billiards room really enhanced our stay vs the 1 bdrm loft that we waited in while they prepped our 2 bdrm loft.

The letter suites in THEhotel are beautiful, but if you're looking for a high level of service you won't find it there. Tower suites at Wynn or Encore is where you will find that. Skylofts service is over the top but good luck figuring out how to work the espresson machine. :D

Ehh...that was really the only important part of the butler's tour. Well that and learning how to quickly use their phones! ;)
