Hilton HHonors - Barcelona restaurants near Hiltons

We are staying at one or both of the Hiltons in Barcelona. Are there any suggestions for good restaurants? Something memorable, good view, or nice food?

We stayed at the del mar in Barcelona last year. Directly accross the road is a shopping mall. On the second floor there are plenty of restaurants. We tried an Italian restaurant in the mall which was pretty good. The other restaurants are in a semi circled configuration which overlooks the courtyard outside. From these restaurants you can see the hilton hotel which is at best about 1 minutes walk from the mall. Have a good stay. :)

Like obs said. There's a great shopping mall right opposite the Diagonal Mar hotel, and they offer cuisine of all types to suit every budget.

Cinema there too, if you speak Spanish.

We had a great time there, at one of the finest places I've stayed in a long while. (Three rooms on points, all upgraded to Exec floor and lounge access.)

I didn't need a restaurant near the Barcelona Hilton because I was upgraded to the executive floor as a Gold, and it included free buffet breakfast and extended tapas in the evening. We ate lunch "in town" while sightseeing.

Frankly, given the expense of Barcelona restaurants (to an American having to buy Euros), I really couldn't imagine paying for more than 1 meal a day. It's very hard to eat breakfast, go out for lunch and then be hungry for dinner. The Executive floor perks therefore proved very valuable. We had a light supper in the lounge and drank our fill of their champagne and rioja. My bar bill alone for 2 would probably have been about $75/night at any decent Barcelona restaurant.
