An example of the Expedia codes from Rodi in the http://flyertalk.com/forum/hotel-deals/934858-general-list-codes-promos-orbitz-hotels-com-expedia-travelzoo-others.html thread.

The 20 GBP Expedia Code EXPTA21120 on the UK expedia website. WWW.EXPEDIA.CO.UK (Code doesn't work on the US websites).

Golden Gate often has 2nd day free.

4/26/09-4/28/09
16.26 GBP for 2 days.

The 20 GBP discount doesn't give you a free room (or negative cost, like some codes in the past), but there's only 1.34 GBP ($1.97) left in fees.

Your credit card may charge you $1.30-1.31 in currency exchange fees.

Total = $3.25-3.30 for 2 nights.

Note: Due to the bonuses at Binions, El Cortez, Four Queens, and Orleans, I often prefer booking those rooms (even if the prices are a little higher).

If you book the El Cortez 4/26-4/28/09, the second night is free.

29.05 GBP 1st night
Free 2nd night
-20 GBP coupon
1.33 GBP Taxes & Service Fees
----------------
11.71 GBP

Total = $18.50-18.55 for 4 nights.

The El Cortez will give you
a) Certificate for 2 days free in June-July-August 2009 which can be used on expensive weekend nights for their best Tower rooms ($60-70/night + taxes = $66-77). When I'm not comped, I use El Cortez certificates for my Fridays and Saturdays. They kick butt on expensive weekends, and the Tower rooms are surprisingly nice (3.5* - 4*, roughly Flamingo/Ballys quality) and very large - junior-suite size.
b) Fun book with $5 slot play (only once every 2 weeks), $5 match play, $5 dining, $0.50 keno discount - worth $8-13. And you can have a photo keychain made for free. :-)
