Hilton HHonors - Missing hotel floor plans when doing e-Check In

I'm wondering if other folks who stay at Hilton hotels are experiencing the same thing as I am when doing an e-Check IN.

Over the past couple of months, when I've done an e-Check In at a variety of Hilton properties, I've noticed that the floor plan of the hotel with a map of all the rooms, is missing. All I get is a tabular list of rooms to select from. I have no way of knowing if the rooms available are near stairs, the ice machine, elevators, etc like I'm used to seeing. Is anyone else having this happen to them?

So far, this has happened at Garden Inn, Hilton, and Homewood Suites properties.

Yep, happened to me today in fact. For an Embassy Suites. I picked the highest floor and hope it will work out!

Maybe I haven't been paying attention, but I have never seen a floor plan when doing e-check in. Or, it could be the properties that I am staying at.

I very rarely do e-check in when I am unfamiliar with the hotel for this very reason.

I remember getting an e-mail from Homewood Suites about having floor plans available for on-line check-in or something like that. But that's it.

Of the perhaps 20 online check-ins I have done, I recall maybe one or two that showed floorplans, and iirc both were were Homewood Suites. This feature certainly is not something that HHonors provides automatically although it would be a nice enhancement. And even having a page with floorplans on the hotel website would help. Currently only the floorplans of meeting spaces are shown regularly.
