Hi,
Clicked on the Westjet airline site and they are offering a "one day free" special through Alamo.
Doing a mock booking I see that a fullsize car in Vegas 5 days (Sept 25-30) will cost me $252.
This seems pretty reasonable but am looking to see from you experts if this is the best rate I can get. Are there any promo codes/coupons that offer more.
*** I am a member with National but their rates were quite high ***
Any help is appreciated.

If that's with Tax and all that doesn't sound too bad. With Vegas you can never tell. If there is a big convention in town sometimes the rates are high as in any town when the fleet utilization is high. Booking this far in advance though you have time to research what is going on in Vegas at that time.
But like I said, if that's with Tax...that sounds pretty good.

Thanks for the response.....
Ya, I checked around and reserved with Alamo...... rate ended up at $221.00 so that settles that.
The check in kiosk interests me as well.

Try Contract I.D. 7012298 and coupon code AU2729MJW.
Choose midsize and you get an upgrade to a Chevrolet Monte Carlo for $166.27 total.
Use the Kisok and you don't need any coupons.

Wow,
Did a trial booking and this is one amazing deal.
Question, although I do plan on using the kiosk.... it might be good for me to know the origin of these codes. During the booking it does state that a coupon may be needed. see below:
You have entered a coupon that may be required to be presented at the time of rental. Please read the terms and conditions of the coupon before selecting your vehicle to ensure your coupon will apply to your reservation. If you are using an upgrade coupon, please select the car category you wish to upgrade from.
With my luck the kiosk in Vegas will be broken and will be forced to go to the counter where they might ask me for the coupon.
Feel free to PM me if you feel some info is confidential.

Havent looked up this coupon code, but if a "paper" coupon is required you would need to provide it at the exit booth, even if you used the kiosk. If its an electronic coupon you will be fine.

I just reserved a premium at LAS for 254 with tax and an additional driver included. I think I got lucky. The rental is for a week and 3 days.
Check out there $25 weekly deal and combine with the walmart coupon code 430710 and you might get a better deal. I wish you all the luck. They also had midsize hybrids for $301 with the combination of walmart coupon and weekly discount rental with Tax. But make sure the rental is before May 31st.
Safe travels.

I actually found a great code from Costco for Alamo including the free extra driver. If you are a Costco member then it is available for you to use.
I believe it is costcotravel.com
one car upgrade
$25 off
additional driver free
