Gaming Loyalty Programs - AC Casinos - suggestions for maximizing loyalty rewards through markers

Hi all,

Not sure if this has been discussed previously (I did a quick search and didn't see anything), but I have a trip coming up to AC and am interested if anyone has thoughts/suggestions regarding the use of markers while I'm down there, in particular to garner comps and other loyalty program perks.

The particulars of my situation:
- Staying at Resorts (ugh, not my choice)
- The half-order of magnitude that I'd be looking to put at risk is in the $1k-5k range, so any markers that I set up will be in that range.
- Definitely also interested in the "not having to carry around a bunch of cash" aspect.
- Games are poker 50%, blackjack and craps the rest, with a little dabbling in other table games (Pai Gow poker, etc).

In addition to general advice, I have these questions:
- Suggestions on where to maximize play? Would be an added benefit if they have a decent poker room AND hotel (i.e. Trop qualifies for the 1st and fails horribly for the 2nd).
- If I set up multiple markers, should I set them all up for the max I'm putting up at risk (and take care of the "accounting" myself), or should I set them up so they add up to the total?

Thanks for all of your help!

1) A credit line doesn't get you any comps or perks, except perhaps convincing a host to give you an up-front room comp if you have no history with the place.
2) They don't want you to use your credit line for poker.
3) You get almost no comps from playing poker.
4) Go to Vegas instead.
