Other Car Rental Programs/Partners (ie. Alamo, Enterprise, Sixt) - Alamo YVR - Choice of car?

Does Alamo at YVR let you choose any car in the section or is the car allocated at the counter?

I'm 90% sure that Alamo is counter only, but not certain. Alamo's cousin National has Emerald Reserve service at that location, where Emerald Club members choose their own car from the appropriate section. I was there back in October and I'm pretty sure the Alamo section of the parkade wasn't gated, meaning they assign the car at the counter.

I last rented in YVR about a year ago. It was counter only with assigned cars.

If you ask them they will tell you which cars are available in your booked class and let you have a look at them as well.
