Hi,

I just tried to install Mile Tracker 1.985

After installation, though, I can't get the program to open. I get this error:

Component 'MileTrackerCore.dll' or one of its dependencies not currently registered: a file is missing or invalid.

Any idea how to fix this?

Fire_Fly

P.S. - I've already tried re-installing the program and rebooting.

I had the same problem after I put windows XP on my machine. Go to http://www.moonlightlabs.com/support.html#installtrouble and follow the directions for whatever OS you're using.

Definitely follow the link above. I did, and found out that I needed to update my Java. Did that and it works great!

Just tried MileTracker for the first time. WOW! What an excellent resource!

Have used Miles Tracker for a while- it's such a great help.
I recently had to install Miles Tracker again on my NEW computer - I sent a contribution to Mike for providing the program. It was easily done through Amazon - and I feel good about helping to keep the program "alive".

I also donated Mike ... Mile Tracker is a really great program.

You can donate by pressing "DONATE.." on the bottom of the Mile Tracker screen, and a PayPal window will open..

Just curious: how much do you guys put in Mike's "tip jar"?

If you don't want to say, that's fine...it's just that I use the tool from time to time and thought about throwing a couple bucks in the jar, and wondered what others do. It's a neat little app and the guy obviously maintains it pretty well...

This is a good question. It is situations like this that warrant suggested donation amounts. I have no clue how much I would be willing to pay to buy the software but I do know that I use it every day.

I just went an donated 10 bucks cause I saw your post. I think $5-10 a year from all of us would at least support the real costs involved in hosting fees, etc.

Same here. I also use Mile Tracker every day. To access a hotel and/or airline account/website, I mostly use MileTracker and press "Navigate".

I also donated $10 and did feel a little "cheap" ... but better than nothing .. even $5 once in a while would be "better than nothing"!

Can somebody explain why I cannot update the hilton honors account using mile tracker?

Is anyone else having this problem?

I can acccess the account directly by navigating but I cannot check the account for an updated points total.

It says N/A (and lists my previous total)

Prior to last week, this feature worked perfectly but it is only since a couple of days that I noticed this problem.

Please share w/me your experience with using the software on hilton honors accounts?

Thanks

Anthony

Thanks

Anthony

Anthony,
I just tried to check my HHonors balance, using MileTracker, and got an error. Since I usually can track this program, I suspect that it is just a temporary issue, somewhere between MileTracker & HHonors. Try again tomorrow.
I donated $10.00, too, as I recall... it's been a few months.

Actually, longer than a month. It's a reminder to me that there's more to life than this game.

I really don't see what this has to do with The latest frequent flyer program buzz nor is this the support forum for MileTracker. It has also taken some unfriendly twists.

I'm closing this now.
