Can anyone recommend a Best Western in Madrid. I haven't stayed in a Best Western in years but there seems to be quite a few in Spain.

The Atlantico was pretty centrally located and decent as I recall.

Stick with the Atlantico, you will get your moneys worth in terms of quality and location. Check out the photos reviewers have posted of the rooms on tripadvisor. Breakfast is only 9 euros per person as well !!

...all the other BW in Madrid are overpriced and disappointing once you see the interiors.

I stayed at the Best Western Los Condes a couple years ago for a few nights. Nothing special, but it was fine and clean. Room had a fridge and microwave.

My spouse and I were very pleased with our 8 day stay here. Staff was very pleasant and helpful and our room was clean and roomy. Wireless Internet access allowed us easy contact with family and our businesses back home.

This hotel is within close walking distance to many nearby restaurants, parks, coffee shops, and public transportation. A huge El Corte Inglés Department store with a wonderful supermarket, deli and wine section in the basement is a couple blocks away. On the hotel’s top floor are a number of lounges and patios with views of the City. There is also a well-stocked and staffed bar on the top floor if you’re in the mood for some refreshments. We stay about a quarter of each year away from home. The Atlantico was a very pleasant surprise.

There are lots of coffee shops and cafes in the neighborhood if you want to eat breakfast for less just minutes from the front door of the hotel. Ask for a recently remodeled room on an upper floor for a quieter stay.
