Interesting sale!

However I think for the majority of people on this board, Primm != Las Vegas. Aren't they about 50 miles apart?

A long time ago I stayed at Buffalo Bills during Comdex to get a cheap rate since hotels in Vegas were through the roof. That 45 minute drive back and forth got old very quickly. But it's a great deal if all you're looking for is to stay at Primm.

1. Site says "35 miles to LV." (city limits??)

2. OP should have said: 5USD per night Sun-Thurs thru Ap. 30.

Thanks for the post.

Interesting deal. I have a $5 free play coupon from Las Vegas Advisor to use at Primm's.

Primm is 29 miles from the new M resort
http://themresort.com
and 39 miles from Bellagio.

So the gas cost would be $4.50-7.00/day. If I don't get comped 4/20 & 4/21 in the next few days, I may book a stay there for Mon 4/20 - Thu 4/23.

At first glance these Primm deals always sound interesting, but then you factor in the lost time (about an hour each way) and gas cost, and other closer hotels like Excalibur ($25 on some nights) or Sahara ($28 on some nights) seem to make more sense.

DenverBrian: On some nights though (like 4/20-4/21), due to 100,000+ person conferences, Las Vegas hotels have astronomical prices & I can't get comped rooms.

That's why I'm considering Primm on 4/20-4/22.
Even the El Cortez bumped it's normal rates from $27 to $41 for the week of 4/20. Although Wild Wild West has $27/night.

Why not? Worked for OJ. :D :D :D

(And certainly a better option than Wild Wild West.)

Primm is getting a lots of business from locals. They are aggressively sending free play & other benefits to raise benefits. Also, they are having better music groups at Primm (before/after they play the strip hotels).

Last time I was there, it was VERY busy.

P.S. 1200 pts ($3) is enough for a free weekday night if you have Terrible's pts. Very good use of points IMO.

From what I've read on TripAdvisor.com, many times properties with cheap rates surprise you with a "resort fee."

Sunnyhere: Resort fees are not just at cheap hotels. Many expensive hotels have them.

Here's a list of 14 Las Vegas hotels with resort fees ($5 to $25).
