Some airlines go by their name, like "United 333"
Others have nicknames like US: "Cactus 312"
Does JetBlue go by JetBlue or do they have a radio nickname?
JetBlue goes by JetBlue. A reasonably comprehensive list is here (http://phlairline.com/acars/airlinecalls3.html).

Very few really have veritable "nicknames." The only *major* ones I can think of, besides US, as you mention, are VX: Redwood, SA: Springbok, and BA: Speedbird. Lots of the express carriers do, as well.

It's the express carriers that get confusing! Murcury, Lindburg, Acey, Shasta.
