Online Travel Booking and Bidding Agencies - Expedia doesnt want to honor flight

I booked a ow business class ticket on Expedia flying Span air, it turned out that this ticket is in coach.

The itin on expedia shows its a business class flight, but Span air shows coach. Now Expedia is giving me a hard time dealing with this matter.

They make me hold the line for an hour each time untill i hang up.They neither want to give me a real Business class ticket nor a total refund.

I would appreciate any help or advice.

P.S the glitch is still on thier web site.

Of course you should be eligible for a full refund when they have sold you a product with the wrong description. Ask to talk with a supervisor, and don't give up.

I have talked to 4 supervisors upto now, none of them were willing to help.

Expedia leaves me no other choice thanks for this advice, ill call my credit card compnay on monday. I hope its possible, because Expedia has already recieved the amount.

It shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you have evidence; print-out from Expedia showing the flight as J and from Spanair showing it as Y.

Spanair has a kind of intermediate class sometimes called Avant that confuses everyone (including Spanair at times) which is not quite business but not quite economy either.

Problem solved, i got my ticket. I was lucky and got to talk to the right agent.

The Ticket i booked was ow Z class on JK which is Coach and not Business, i payed 64$, but on the Expedia Itin it shows a Business flight. After numerous calls they changed it to C class without charging me.

So this is different from your original post where you said you booked a business class ticket and Expedia was refusing to honor it, putting you in coach instead. Now it sounds like you actually booked a coach seat and there was a difference in what Expedia and Spain air showed as your seat assignment. Were you arguing for a business class seat when you actually only paid for a coach seat? If so, you are extremely fortunate that Expedia gave you a free upgrade that you had no right to.
