i thought there were only venetian and palazzo and i had no idea that venezia tower exists. i was told by reservation rep that venezia is like another hotel within venetian.

some older reviews i found said it's like the concierge service all the way at venezia tower. anyone stayed there recently?

i'm getting comped there so i'm looking to see what i can expect staying at venezia tower.

thanks!

one advantage is that pool is for only ~1000 rooms.

you have access to concierge lounge?

I would take the palazzo over the venezia tower, even with concierge. The palazzo rooms are fantastic.... really, every room in the entire complex is nice, but the palazzo rooms are the newest.

oh, i read reviews where they said it's a very long walk to the casinos. i prefer to do everything at palazzo tho.

yes it is a long walk to the casino and two elevator rides no matter where you are at. Getting to your Venezia room you can access from parking garage by taking the Venezia elevator to the lobby then walk over to the room elevators which is a good walk in itself. From Venetian casino you can either take the room elevators to the 10th floor then walk to the Venezia room elevators, or from casino, go past Venetian lobby, go to the Venezia elevator and take it to the lobby then take the room elevator. Have you changed your reservation to Palazzo yet? :D If you do all your play at Palazzo then you'll have a fun time getting over there from Venezia :).

Venezia now has the most dated rooms after the rooms now that Venetian tower has undergone refurbishing. I personally don't mind Venezia and prefer it to Venetian as there is an exclusive feel to it and quieter despite the long walk and dated rooms.

If your room is comped through casino marketing you will not likely get concierge level though you can ask at check in. Getting a host will help towards securing concierge level ahead of time.

If you are getting access to the concierge level @ Venezia, then it's probably worth it.

But, just keep calling, as availability is always changing (especially the weeks before your visit). Venetian/Palazzo hold back a decent number of rooms (especially if there are conventions @ the property) --- which are often released the weeks before the actual date.

I wouldn't be surprised if you eventually get the Palazzo, closer to the date. Of course, YMMV.
