Arrived with loads (and I do mean loads) of coins which I keep collecting at shops but never remember to spend.

I though I could go to the cashier for the slots but have just really that most hotel slots do not take coins any longer. Its all bills and paper tokens.

Does anyone know any strip casino that still deals with colns that take and give coins.

I either want to change the coins at the cashier or feed it to a machine. Prefer the former but will live with the later.

Try Slots-a-Fun in front of Circus-Circus. I haven't been in for a year or so (and probably won't return in the future - only stopped in to collect a few Silver Strikes), but at the time I was there they had many coin machines. I think they were mainly nickel and quarter denomination.

Buy wine (or groceries) at Fresh and Easy (owned by Tesco) and pay via the automated checkout machine. It will take all your coins and give you something back. Closest location to the strip is due east of the rental car centre at Warm Springs & Eastern.

If you don't hire a car, try Slots a Fun. Otherwise, Nevada State Bank iirc offers free Coinstar coin counting machines in their branches. Another option is to visit Vons at Maryland & Twain and utilize their coinstar - 6% comission IIRC.
