Choice Privileges - Next promo after Freeville?

If something is to replace the current Freeville promo starting May 1, any estimate as to when it might be announced?

Last year, 16K for 3 stays was offered June 1-Aug. 14, and it was first posted on this board May 13.

Thanks. I remembered the 16K, but couldn't find the date somehow.

FORBES magazine just had a notice that hotel occupancy in Jan/Feb was only 58%, though they are up a bit now.

Bring on the incentives!

One would think they would want to fill up some rooms in May and have a new or exteded program starting 1 May. But logic is not one of Choice's strong points.

They have different goals. The want a promo that will actually work for many people, not just for FTers. And they may not want a promo that only lasts 1 month.

Typically they have a few weeks to a month or more between promos. Perhaps this is to "breathe" ad buys? (Freeville is currently all over TV!)

Remember, in summer, they'll likely be calling it a "gas card" promo, because that's how they want to pitch it to the vacationing public. But May 1 is too early for most of the vacationing public.
