Hi!

What kind of meal can I have as a breakfast at Incheon Asiana lounge ?
My flight will leave 10:00, so I will there around 7:30.
If I can not have breakfast at the lounge, does someone recomend the restaurant?

Thank you.

Did you do a bit of search in Asiana forum? There are some excellent informations provided by A_Lee.

In business lounge, you get porridge and some other things.

Thank you for your reply.
I seached in this thread, but few information was found.
The reason why I posted was that I wanted more information.

I'm almost always flying out in the afternoon or evening so don't have much experience with the morning menu, plus I usually skip breakfast anyways. The only thing I recall is them having scrambled eggs and hash browns, though I think that was at the concourse A OZ lounge, not the main concourse lounge, so the food could be different. If I recall, they serve breakfast at 7:30 AM and if it's typical of other serving times, you have to be quick if you want the food because once it's gone they won't cook anymore and you'll have to wait till the next meal serving time (lunch) before there's any new hot food.

There's two McDonalds in the main concourse, if their breakfast suits you. The one down aways on the west pier (near gate 31) I believe serves breakfast all day, whereas one in the food court area, upstairs on the east side of the west pier I think only serves breakfast during breakfast hours. There's also various Korean options in that food court and the one on the opposite side as well. I know there's a donut shop on the opposite side, but don't recall seeing any other western food places there. There used to be a Burger King, Subway sandwich, and KFC on the main level of the west pier, but not sure if they closed down due to the remodeling or not. Being I always have lounge access I don't really pay much attention to the restaurants these days. There's another submarine sandwich place at the far end of the west pier. The HUB lounge upstairs is a pay-per-entry lounge and they do have breakfast - scrambled eggs, hash browns, ham, bacon, plus several other dishes, salad bar, fruit, etc.

If you're not transferring, then landside I know there's at least one bakery as well as a Burger King on the departure level. There's a Bennigan's / Market O if you take the stairs up to the next level, but no idea if they have breakfast or what it's like. On the arrival level there's a KFC, McDonalds, Kraze Burgers (a Korean burger restaurant I think). One level down from there is a newly opened area that has various shops and restaurants but don't recall anything specific there.

Apart from that I can't think of any other places that would have breakfast, but there probably are some, maybe someone else who's a fan of breakfast will know.

You didn't specify if you are departing F or C. As far as F lounge, I did have pics about what kind of food they served in my trip report.

Yes, it might be useful for the OP to clarify which airline, which class lounge, and if transiting or not. The dining options on concourse A, if not flying on OZ are much more limited. My information on the lounge was assuming it was the business class lounge.

........What kind of meal can I have as a breakfast at Incheon Asiana lounge ?..........

It depends on which OZ lounge. There are four Asiana lounges in Incheon: Main Terminal and Concourse A, each with First and Business class lounges.@:-)

When flying TG in C, you will be directed to the OZ *A business lounge on the A concourse, which you reach via the train. You might be able to get into the main concourse lounge if you press the issue, but I think that lounge will likely be more crowded than the A concourse lounge, so you're best off just to go there directly. Also the food seems to last much longer at the A concourse lounge compared to the main lounge. Like I mentioned already, when I visited it in the morning they had scrambled eggs and hash browns for the hot food. They may also have had the porridge mentioned, which I've seen almost everytime I've been to the lounge. I don't recall the salad bar area, if they had salad and/or fruit out at that time or not. I believe they likely did. I wasn't really interested in eating at that time so I didn't pay that much attention. Maybe someone else will know better. If you arrive there at 7:30, I think there should be food there at that time, based on my experience.

I've also taken TG659 in C several times and thought the food was decent on the plane. But if you've already eaten in the lounge, you probably won't be hungry when they try to serve you on the plane again after take-off. What I do is request my in-flight meal be served prior to landing instead, which works much better for my eating schedule.

If you find the food not to your liking, after arriving at A concourse you cannot backtrack to the main concourse. So then your options will be (as best I can remember) a Lotteria (Korean/Japanese fast-food chain), a mini Korean food court, a bakery,a Korean restaurant, a Dunkin Donuts at the far end of the concourse. There's probably a few other options as well but I never paid too much attention. I think probably not really anything too exciting for breakfast. If a good breakfast is really critical, then you're better off to get something landside before you check in, or airside in the main concourse before heading to A concourse.

What day are you traveling? I'm scheduled to fly on TG659 on April 18. If you happen to be flying the same day, send me a PM if you're interested in meeting.

The following items were available for breakfast last time I visited the C lounge in the morning:

- scrambled eggs
- hash browns
- toast
- other bakery goods
- jam
- porridge
- some fruit

I didn't see fruit salad or any salad at that time.

It looks good but I wish they provide at least some bacons but then I never had a chance to take morning flights out of ICN.
