I just did DFW-ICN-BKK on 04/02, and the seats on the 777 from DFW to ICN were the old business seats, which really made me angry. It was totally uncomfortable for the extra-long flight...15+ hours due to headwinds. No AVOD. Missed my connection in ICN as a result, was rebooked on the second BKK-ICN flight of the day, now a 747 (also with old business seats, but that was expected). Service on both segments was great, but I don't think they should be flying the old biz seats and charging what they do for what is a premium economy comfort level. Just a quick rant...sorry...but also, beware if you are flying the route.

I know, it happened all of a sudden. I was trying to get DFW-ICN return this summer, so I kept watching if KE keeps refurbished one on this route, and then I realized it was downgraded throughout this summer only a few days back. I'm now taking SQ instead of KE for my upcoming trip. I don't know why DFW keeps getting ditched by KE.

plane switching doesn't happen on the JFK route right?
