Korean Air Skypass - Honey Roasted Peanuts
I can't for the life of me remember the Brand name of the red honey roasted peanuts that are given out on-board (or at least were December 2008 through January 2009)?
I think it starts with W.
Also, would anyone know if they can be bought in Australia? I'm hooked on them.

The brand name is Fisher. Fisher honey roasted peanuts. They have given it out on board for a few years. I like it too. In the U.S., you can get a large plastic jar (don't know the size exactly) of Fisher honey roasted peanuts for about US$5 at large grocery stores. However not all grocery stores have it. Sorry mate, but I don't know about Australia as I never tried to buy it in Australia. Just google.
Thank you for that! :) I might get some sent to Australia through a US store. It shouldn't be much of a problem.
They were certainly the most delicious nuts I have ever had on a plane. I am unlikely to fly KE again though, after sitting through 4 flights BNE-ICN-PRG-ICN-BNE with no personal entertainment screen and overnight transfers. Price was good though.
Personally, I think most brands tates very similar.

Could not agree more~
Having couple small packets of honey roasted penuts would be more enjoyable than buying a family size can to relive the taste up in the air.
Let the good memories be memories, don't ruin it down on the ground. :D
I tried buying a packed of Woolworths (Australia) brand, and it's not the same.
And as I said, I will not fly KE again until they implement some sort of IFE system on their BNE-ICN-PRG route. :D

I did this few days ago. Exactly a couple of small packets for $1, and they came with 500kcal. Honey roasted peanuts taste good, but too much fat just like other nuts. :(

If you like honey roasted penuts, try honey roasted walnuts. Little more pricey but thye are better in my opinion.

Life is so strange - you are in Australia craving for (I'd agree rather 'generic' if good - the Marks and Spencer's ones in the UK for instance, are much nicer, and they do them with cashew too!) honey roasted peanuts and whenever I come to Australia I find honey roasted macadamia the best nuts in the world!! ;)
