I think this is in the too good to be true caregory but i wanted to get the expert opinions from flyertalk. There are people on ebay who list they get fc fares for cheaper, so i email a seller where i want and he quotes me 1120 as opposed to 1900, is there anyway this is legit? Thanks.

They are probably a broker selling frequent flier miles. The airlines would not look kindly on it and you could get caught... so buyer beware!

And if you get caught, you don't get on the plane and you're out $1,120. Since you didn't buy your ticket from an airline or a reputable travel agent, you have no recourse but to try to track down the scam artist on eBay who sold it to you. Good luck!
