American Express Membership Rewards - Need to convert 100K MR points to best option

I am trying to get the best possible return on 100K Membership Rewards points without using them as airline tix. I am sure that using them for biz/1st class international airplane tickets would probably be the best redemption, but I don't need it for any flights this year.

So far, the best option I can find is to use them to get a $1000 gift card. Anybody have any better suggestions?

Well if you don't need any airline ticket this year I would still suggest putting them to an airline program. Depending on where you generally fly I would suggest ANA as they offer excellent redemption opportunities for star alliance flights that are DISTANCE based and not flight based. This can be very advantageous depending on where you live. I have seen Upper class redemptions to LHR for only 68,000 points.
