My parents are half way through a * RTW. Their tickets were issued by Swiss as they made their first flight from LHR-DXB via Zuerich.
They've now made it as far as Auckland, having flown in on Air NZ from Perth. Their next flight is on the 8th April to Sydney on one of the strike threatened NZ 320s.
I understand from the threads in the ANZ board that the airline usually does a good job to reaccomodate people, and that most people are not making too many contingency plans in the hope that the strike is cancelled or has limited impact.
Who should my 'rents talk to about ensuring that they make their flight, as they have hotels booked and onward flights to Vancouver. Should it be NZ as the carrier or LX as the ticketing airline?
Thanks
