Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - Will SQ Check Bags Through onto a BA Flight ?

Traveling DPS-SIN-HKG on SQ to Connect with a BA flight to LHR.

Would rather stary airside than clear customes etc and wait a few hrs landside until BA check in desks open.

Will SQ check my bags through from DPS to LHR ( onto the BA Flight).

Would apreciate any advice.

Yes, confirm they will BUT that's a long detour? If you're One World, CX have direct flights from DPS-HKG, about 4 hours, rather than DPS-SIN (2 Hours) transit time in SIN and then another 4 hours BACK to HKG? Alternatively, BA also fly out of SIN to LHR. Seems like an unecessarily convoluted ITX?

Used BMI miles + Cash to Fly SQ F and C. good value for miles I thought. Could only use BA miles to get CX economy, so went for the longer route. Also 3 of us and only 2 CX tickets available on miles and very expensive to purchase a ticket at the time I booked.
