Will be staying here enroute to Normandy. What is the best way to get into the city from here? Will have most of the day of arrival to explore.

A taxi or limo would be the best way as they'll drop you exactly where you want to go.

Have a nice time

You can get the shuttle to the train station between terminal 2 E/F and 2 ABCD and get the train to Paris from there. It is roughly 8 euro and if you get on one that doesn't stop, it will take you to Gare du Nord in about 40 minutes...

As honker has said the shuttle to the airport is the best way to go, it's also free since you are staying at the hotel. It's long shuttle ride, this hotel must be one of the most out of the way airport hotels I have ever stayed in, it's also the worst Rezidor property I have stayed in by a rather large margin, I suggest you cancel your reservation and book into the Sheraton or Hilton instead, they are both much closer and within walking distance of the metro or RER stations and much nicer places to stay. You are also .... out of luck if you don't speak French, the front desk staff have a very limited grasp of English.

The only thing I can recommend about this hotel is the resturant which is quite good and if you have children the pool is a bonus.

I agree with KiwiRob, Sheraton would be better. Have stayed at the Pullman which is quite nice and sometimes offers good deals...

To me, the worse Rezidor property I ever stayed in is the Radisson SAS at Cork airport, Ireland. The furniture is falling apart, old fashioned beddings... But a very nice staff (had a handwritten letter from the GM welcoming me back to the hotel on the bed...)

No way apart from having a car or taking the Free Radisson Shuttle to the airport (around 15 mn) and the Train from the CDG airport to Paris (25 mn)

I`ve stayed about 30 nights in that hotel. it's not expensive in comparison to the offered services. There's a pool, Sauna jacuzzi, machines for exercicing and the dishes are quite cheap. I would recommend to rest and enjoy the facilities there as visiting Paris for just some hours is not that interesting.
