The International Vintage Poster Fair will be held at the Chicago Cultural Center, 77 E. Randolph, March 27-29.
The world's oldest and largest vintage poster fair offers for sale over 10,000 original posters.
This is a great event if you have any interest in vintage posters. One of the organizers of the show is Mireille Romand of Galerie Documents in Paris. You can trust that if she says it's an original lithograph, it is. She and her assistant, Dominique, are a hoot to chat with. Over the years, I have found that every poster they have has a story and they're eager to tell it to you!
Admission is $45 on Friday (benefiting the Evening Associates of the Art Institute) and $15 on Saturday and Sunday. All tix are valid for the entire weekend.
