Asiana Club - amex 2 for 1

I am not presently an amex platinum card holder, but thinking of becoming one. I understand that they have 2 for 1 in 1st on Asiana. I know you have to pay the "full fare " price. Unfortunatly Amex will not tell me what the full fare price is unless I sign up for the card. Does anybody know what a full fare 1st class ticket costs JFK-HKG round trip?

The fares are constantly changing with the Amex program. The rate changes nearly daily based upon whatever "discounted" F or J seats the airline is selling that particular day. The fare is typically higher than the "cheapest" J or F class seat you'll find using an online booking site, or even through the airline's own web site.

I believe around $15k in F unless an A fare is eligable which is 12k (though I don't think it is) - so hard to see how this can save you any money unless your company/client pays for a full fare ticket.

Which country Amex Platinum? Austalia, Germany and AFAIK the UK do not have OZ has a partner. US I think has.
