InterContinental Hotels Group Stay Forum - IC Shanghai Pudong (Club IC)

As part of our stay at the Shanghai IC, we received complimentary lounge access due to the RA status.

We booked the Business Executive suite with breakfast rate, hoping to get upgraded to the Panoramic suite which we previously enjoyed. However, when we contacted the IC, they told us that some of the panoramic suites were under renovation, and others are occupied, so we only got the lounge access as the major RA perk. The lounge is nice, and does not appear to have been changed from our stay two years ago.

The view from the windows were delightful. The post brought back memories of the wonderful time I had at the hotel. It was the first time that I actually craved for lounge food. The little pieces of "finger food" were delicious.:)

The lounge is actually pretty nice. In March, I had a Panorama duplex Suite on (to my recollection) 20th floor. The panorama was acutally not that spectacular, however the suite was pretty nice.

how abut the suite ?

i have booked a standard room, have been upgrade to a excutive room with club access, the room is new, but the bed is too small, and the indoor pool are also two small.

i have been stay in IC puxi in shanghai , it's a very fantastic hotel, it will be the good chioce for you to stay in shanghai, and it will offer you the same room as park hyatt shanghai. but a half price.

I have stayed at the IC Pudong for years, and my last stay the Hotel outside was under constrction so it very loud.. also as a RA i got a crappy upgrade to a larger room.. :(
Twice now...... so I bailed to the NEW IC PUXI........ WOW amazing hotel they had the grand opening when i was there.... however the heat/AC is a real problem still they are working on it??? UGH but its still a big issue. RA get move the the seperate buliding thats just for Club Rooms... I got a huge room not a suite. The staff is great the hotel was EMPTY... wow..
