Gaming Loyalty Programs - Harrahs, Ceasar, Bally's, Showboat AC room preference..

I have stayed in the showboat a couple times on comps and I know that it doesn't matter what room you select when booking. You have to request premium at checkin, and they'll give it to you as long as it's available.

Is this the case with the other hotels in AC as well? For example, I have free comps for the marina deluxe rooms at the Harrahs, but would prefer the marina luxury or bayview premium rooms ofcourse. Can I just request these rooms when I checkin?

And does this work for all the Harrah's rooms? Thanks!

Waterfront Premium (http://www.harrahsresort.com/casinos/harrahs-atlantic-city/casino-misc/waterfront-tower-detail.html) are the best standard rooms @ Harrah's Atlantic City. You can request them at check-in, though, I've been fortunate enough to have that category assigned my last few stays. These rooms have a very nice footprint, and are located in the tower closest to the Pool, Red Door Spa, and Reflections cafe -- but furthest from the casino floor.

I try to stay in these rooms as much as my expenses will cover me and they are worth every penny (although having recently jumped to HET Plat, a lot of $0 rates are slowly appearing for this cat., hehe). If you are staying in these from Thurs to Sat, I would advise to ask for a room on a higher level, since the noise from the Pool will disturb you if you are trying to sleep.
