Well if you'd want to be sure you can call them but I fly quite a lot with Ryanair and I have never seen them check the pasport code, the only check the name on the ticket.
But knowing Ryanair they will most probably charge you to make a change to the reservation:(

hi thomas199023
okay. i just realized i've made a separate mistake.
so my name as listed on my passport consists of 4 words, think of Alpha Beta Charlie Delta
But I only typed in as Alpha Beta (Last name: Beta)
I believe i may have done this unintentially.
your thoughts please.

Well I just looked up my Ryanair itinerary for a flight for next week.
My name is: Thomas Beta Charlie Delta (Delta my last name) as it is in my passport.
Though on my Ryanair bookings I only put my first and last name. So Thomas Delta, have never had trouble with this. so I think that you'd be fine. Though if you'd want to be totally sure I'd just ring the Ryanair office tomorrow and ask them, in that case there wont be at any risk at all

Hoping never to have to fly them, but I'm curious my own self.

From reading some other forums, people seem to have varying luck with getting name mistakes corrected with Ryanair.
Some people only get charged a few euro, (more for small spelling mistakes), whereas some others have reported being charged the full £100/£150 name change fee even though it is the same person flying. :(
Ryanair customer service are well known for being ruthless! :(
If they do try to charge you the full fee, remember to check online if it could be cheaper just to leave the booking as it is, and then book yourself a new ticket using your correct name.
Good luck! ^

I actually love flying Ryanair! There Düsseldorf, Weeze or is it Niederrhein? airport is only 20 km away, and the waits are minimal. You just get what you pay for no more no less. I've successfully managed to get multiple tickets to London and Milan for less than 10 Euro inclusive tax and cc fee. and I don't mind being cramped for only an hour or so for 10 Euro.
I have never had any problems with them, (okay some delays maybe but no cancellations or anything like that) and I fly with them at least once a month. (I usually don´t have any luggage with me though)

hi guys,

done the opposite - did not type in the last number of the passport number.
Just came back from the trip and no problem at either airport.
As with extra names .... I also have a double last name, i.e. Bonny Smith-Jones. I have flown as Bonny Smith, as wells as Bonny Jones - never a problem
