Disability Travel - Links to FT reviews of disability-friendly services

I started this thread to provide links to existing FlyerTalk reviews of disability-friendly hotels and other services, to provide links to resources without duplicating posts.

If it's not the thing to do, I know I am in the capable hands of Katja and she will merge, delete and edit as necessary. If it is, this would be a good place to add links to make our travels more comfortable.

We arrived the early evening of March 18 2009 with most rooms full and were given Room 320, which happens to be accessible and fairly well designed for those using wheelchairs. Well situated (just off highway 29, a couple or three miles from downtown Napa and 9 miles from Yountville - making wine country and excellent restaurants very easy to get to,) and a good value IMO.

It's a huge operation, but in August 2008 we arrived and got straight onto an accessible bus to the Hertz lot to collect the car.

When returning, we arrived at the lot and asked for a car not to be parked right next to us in the return lanes (so we could transfer my mother to her wheelchair) and the attendant called another staff member over. They did the paperwork, then drove us to the terminal in the rental car, helped us to unload our bags, and took the car back themselves.

This was unexpected and absolutely delightful - rather than having to unload all our baggage, transfer mum into the wheelchair, and get the accessible bus to the terminal (with dad pushing mum and me lugging the luggage), we were dropped right at the terminal in the car.
