Travel Technology - Recommend a replacement for my TyTnII

Friday 13th was traumatic for me. I somehow managed to lose my TyTnII in the back of a Fijian cab :( and there's no prospect of getting it back.

Since I'm in Hong Kong in three weeks time, I think a little retail therapy is in order. What would you recommend?

I'm thinking of the Nokia E-71 at the moment because I always found the Blackberry style of keyboard more productive than the TyTn. Speaking of Blackberry, I'd have the Bold in a heart beat if only they'd support Microsoft Exchange in the handset.

Of course, I could always just buy another TyTnII or perhaps a Touch Pro (I love the HD but I don't think it has the all important keyboard - might consider one for a casual phone though).

Any advice to a thoroughly traumatised (really - my hand keeps going to my belt where the TyTn used to hang and sometimes I think I feel a vibration) fellow traveller would be very much appreciated.

I am much happier with my Bold than my Tilt (AT&T's name for the TYTN II). You can buy an app that makes the Bold use the Activesync protocol - but you loose some of the benefits of the real BB solution such as lesser data usage and greater battery life. Of course, if you are going to another Activesync handset you wouldn't get those benefits anyway.

Wirelessly posted (most likely from a Qantas Pub: Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.2; U; Series60/3.1 NokiaE71-1/100.07.76; Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 ) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413)

If you're after an MS Exchange solution either go WinMo or Nokia. Look up and you'll see my decision... :)

The Touch Pro DOES have the slide-out keyboard. And I use the heck out of it!

Nice phone, and I like that it has Windows Mobile.

But battery life is not so good. You'll want extra chargers (see Ebay) if you go with the HTC.
