We managed to upgrade the LAX-SYD portion of our SFO-HNL-LAX-SYD-LAX-HNL-SFO k-fare itin with SWUs. And the LAX-HNL-SFO return portion cleared with a single e-500. October 24 is the end of the summer 2009 schedule in IATA-world, which is why that date was chosen by CO and why the fare expires then. But given that United setup the DEQM promo today, I'm sorta anxious to get my run booked! I'm out of DEN, and the best I've been able to do to MEL is DEN-LAX-SYD-MEL, then MEL-SYD-SFO-LAX-DEN for $862 in late April. I prefer those dates, but others are possible. Further, I understand this is specifically about JFK, etc. But if someone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it. -Steve as219 Mar 20, 09, 10:42 am I am so tempted to try it in coach just for the misery of it all...
