Ladies, Gentlemen,
Is there a way to buy Asiana miles? Can't find any on their web site, but with the small # of miles I need to get to an award ticket, it would be way, way cheaper to buy 'em than to buy the ticket.
Thanks!

AFAIK know the answer is no. But they have an excellent credit card program when you have a US bank account.
I think you can also transfer miles between family members, if it's a possible option for you.

You can buy miles in SPG (https://starwood.mpmvp.com/Default.asp?), and transfer them to Asiana. Transfer minimum is 2500 unless you have Gold or Platinum SPG.

If you are a Korea based resident you can buy Asiana miles, I believe you can buy up to 8,000 miles/quarter through one of credit card companies.

I have browsed every single credit card affiliated with OZ in Korea, not a single card offered an option of buying OZ miles.

Why not just use the card to buy something to earn miles instead?

I was just pointing out that NYCwahoo is wrong. I use credit card that earns OZ miles anyway.

I know, but I was only using your quote as a jumping point to bring out the fact that if OP had (or were to get) a OZ-affiliated credit card, why bother with buying the miles.
