Starwood Preferred Guest - Redeeming for flights

I'm trying to redeem Starpoints for flights - there is a specific flight that is available on Orbitz, Aeromexico.com, etc. right now that is not showing up on the SPG redemption website. (It was showing up on SPG yesterday, but alas, I didn't book then.)

Any idea what would cause this flight to disappear from the SPG redemption engine? Any odds on it returning?

The details:
SFO-MEX-CUN departing 3/21, returning 3/25
Aeromexico
Business Class

Yes. It was painless and offered lot of options on several airlines.

There was an extensive thread when the product was introduced. It's not a great value for points: find the airfare (Orbitz is a useful reference), divide by $0.013, and round up to the nearest multiple of 5000. That's your SPG point cost in about ten trials I conducted. Typically one can do a lot better than $0.013/point on stays, thanks.
