Starwood Preferred Guest - Westin Kuala Lumpur - promo deals??

hi all - trying to book seven night stay at this hotel - best rate i can muster is 573 Rm ++ (an extra 100rm per night in taxes). Anyone have a promo code that makes this a little nicer?

With sample dates it would be a whole lot easier, but this'll work for sure . scan along the URL for the digits 1443 and replace them with 0279 . never fails

Maybe try the Z6H rate (buy 4 get 2 nights free) plus a separate booking for one night.

Or the Z5H rate (25%off 5 or more nights).

And then the OP would be booking Sheraton Subang instead of Westin Kuala Lumpur - not quite the same thing.

The AAA rate will get you MYR 448. Does your employer have a SET rate?

Hi. I suspect you're having a bit of trouble figuring out the codes. I find 475MYR ++ as the best available rate for your dates. Oddly, there is also an advance purchase rate that is exactly the same.

On to the AAA code. Do you have an Automobile Association card? If you do, you can check on spg.com. bondiboy gave the rate he found above. It is a refundable rate.

alanslegal gave you a couple promo codes. Check out the Promo Promo Promo thread (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/starwood-preferred-guest/882261-promos-promos-promos.html) at the top of the forum. Kuala Lumpur Westin comes up as a resort and not a hotel.

I just checked the Z5R rate and got 356.25++ for your dates. That's for 2 adults in the room. Be aware this is nonrefundable.

You can use the Z6R code for buy four, get 2 nights free. This gives you 475 MYR for each of four nights, then 2 nights free. This is also nonrefundable.

entering the codes as you have listed with the special rate plan bit blank and then the code in the "promotion code" box tells me everytime that the rate is not valid..what am I doing wrong?

thanks sandiego1k - worked it out - it wouldnt bring up that rate unless i put in 6 nights only (leaving at 7 nights tells me its invalid)
