Hi,
I'm hoping for some (any?) response.
Many people here have toured NZ and some of you are aware that older folk sometimes prefer a coach or bus tour rather than driving around unfamiliar countries.
I am hoping for some feedback about my options on a 8-9 day coach tour for some elderly relatives, taking in the highlights of the NZ South Island (aka Mainland :p).
I've found what I think is a very good deal - all the major destinations, including a cruise across Milford Sound, some touring around the glacier country and a trip on the TranzAlpine railway. This low/midrange option with all the goodies is working out to be priced similar to a basic tour which charges for these inclusions. So any feedback on my preferred operator (especially any recent changes/feedback) would be great.
I tried multiple searches with the new search engine but could not find a suitable preceding thread in the forum. So far, my post in the NZ Master Thread (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/11389762-post206.html)seems to have been ignored or not seen, hence my question here.
Should NZ touring be off-topic for this forum, or if there is a better non-FT place to seek comment, please let me know here or by PM.
