Just stayed at the Econo Lodge in Albany NY on Wolf Road.
What a pleasant surprise for an Econo Lodge. Must have been renovated somewhere along the line. ^
$53 rate. Great place to do a mattress run for point promos. ;)
Comfortable bed and pillow. Nice looking carpet. Bathroom circa 2007. You don't see that all the time. Good water pressure in the shower. My wife would have approved of the bathroom. Lots of cable channels.
Free computer in the lobby. Friendly staff. Free continental breakfast included. It's no Hampton Inn, but they have cereal, muffins, and wrapped pastries.
I know Econo Lodge is the low end of the Choice family, but this one is steps above the rest. I'll be back on my next trip, and suggest that you consider it too.
