They have a good deal on minivan rentals for the time I need it for my upcoming roadtrip...BUT...their website says I have to be 25 to rent a minivan. This sucks because I'm 24 and w/o the extra "underage fee" it's $432 total for 7 days. Add on the "fee" and it goes up to $983. No frickin' way am I paying that. Somebody told me to just book it and use the kiosk so I won't have to worry about it. Is this true? I got a great deal, but that "underage fee" is a dealbreaker for me.

Are you referring to Alamo? Once you plug in the info on the kiosk it will bounce the rental and you will not be allowed to rent a Minivan. If you fudge the date of birth, they will turn you away at the exit booth. You need to be 25 to rent a Minivan (in most places).
The underage fee is mandatory for all other categories, they will not waive it.
