Sixt - SIXT Diamond --- is it worht spending a little money?

Hi everybody,

I have the chance to achieve SIXT Diamond status by spending a certain amount of money.
My question: Is it worth it?
Right now I´m SIXT Plat.

I´ve heard about fabulous upgrades and about the comfortable lounge at MUC.

Any Diamand Holders among you ???

Experiences are much appriciated :)

Upgrades and service are indeed really good, however I wouldn't pay money for it - differences to platinum are anot substantial from my point of view

You can ask any M&M HON about Dia because they do get Sixt Dia. With the current enhancement I am not to keen to stay loyal with Sixt and wouldn't spend any money. BTW: You can also get Sixt Dia with the BMW CC.

I'm definetely satisfied with my Diamond Card as the Upgrades are really great.

However, for the past 4 months I rent cars completely for my private use and therefore look even more on the price.

Sixt became very expensive IMHO and Europcar and Hertz became really competetive !

Agree with you skywalker...Ive found this winter renting out of GVA airport Sixt are almost twice as expensive as Avis

I agree with you that Sixt is alomst unbeatable when it comes to upgrades - even without status but more so with Gold/Plat/Dia.

To be precise: I could get the SIXT Diamond for about 200 EUR, taking part in a larger donation of our company and getting SIXT Diamond in return.
So I would even have done something valueable for a social project against cancer.

As there are mixed oppinions, do you think it is worth the money?

Are the SIXT VIP lounges at some German airports of any use?

For a 200€ donation I would say go for it.
