Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - New v old long haul Biz seats
I'm sure this has been written to death, but I've finally tried the new flat biz seats on MEL-HKG. Certainly claustrophobic, certainly a challenge for those who are wide at the hips, but the flat bed is stunning - so long as you don't need to roll from side to side (ie sleep on right side for K seats).
Hmmm - then did the comparison with HKG-BAH in the old long haul biz seats (sloping). Hard to sleep, wedge yourself in position, slide down etc etc. Great seats for space but poor for sleepers.
I'm just sad that we didn't get op-uped into F on the A340. :(

As you said: I'm sure this has been written to death
Everyone has their own opinion ..... "Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder"
To be honest flying business is always better than econ ....even when it's sliding down or a bit claustrophobic in sleeping postion ........both if these I have never experienced in economy!!
Flying the new F in Aug back to Europ (flew old F before0 ....so I might ..... and moan about business after that:cool:

Frankly I like the new C much, much better than the old one for intercontinental flights. But the new F is truly amazing. Flew last week with my wife in new F (allready had many other flights in new F). The FAs were bad (unfriendly, disorganized). But that still was a great flight miles better than new C. Yes you do get badly spoilt. But for the price difference in this bad period.....
