Other Car Rental Programs/Partners (ie. Alamo, Enterprise, Sixt) - Enterprise - Customer Service - No Response

When I rented a car at the Enterprise MIA location the day after Xmas they were out of cars. After arriving at the lot we were told that they were all out of cars & would have to join the group that was waiting for cars.

The net of the experience was a wait time of 1.5 hours for our rental car for each person in my group.

Okay, fine. So I thought I would contact Enterprise Corporate Customer Service to let them know of the experience. As I was unable to find a physical mailing address, I opened a query online on 1/3. There has been no response, even after I updated the issue twice since then & called them (they said they would forward it to corporate).

I think it is really rude to not respond to issues like this.

Is Enterprise always like this? Any ideas on how I can get a response?

Anyways, just a heads up about Enterprise for those of you considering renting from them.

This sort of thing is not unique to Enterprise, and really not worth writing corporate about. Sell-outs happen all the time. I posted a similar experience a few months back involving Alamo, National, and Hertz at SFO. Entire rental center was devoid of cars - everyone waited. It's a pain, but if you travel often, it's one of those things you just learn to deal with.
